FeedBeads are polymer particles, which emit the nutrients for cells or bacteria in an exactly measured rate to the culture medium. The screening, that means the search of ideally suitable bacteria or cells for a biotechnological production process, works under similar conditions like they are found in the later production.
Of particular importance is the enormously increased probability to find an optimal production strain. Resources are spared in a considerable scope as simultaneously are saved time and costs.
