The Kinder-Akademie Fulda would like to advance their curiosity and the competence of the little boys and girls for nature and environment. In the environment-pedagogic experimentation series the institution takes up the childrens‘ questions and widens the scientific knowledge of the teachers. Starting point of the experimental activities is water with its fascinating physical and chemical qualities and its broadly great significance for life. Water offers numerous possibilities to explore, to stimulate the childrens‘ imagination and to awaken their inventive strengths. The attempts show the little researchers why they should handle water carefully and sensitize them for the respon-sibility that we have for ourselves and our environment.
Feeding children‘s inquisitiveness
In the first project phase, 30 teachers served as multipliers for the environment-pedagogic experimentation series. Through three one-day trainings they got advanced knowledge about the topic and how to communicate it.
