The Regionales Umweltzentrum Hollen (Regional Environmental Center of Hollen) developed in cooperation with numerous project partners from education, research, economy and school administration a training that is aimed to establish 13 ecologically oriented student companies in Lower Saxony, Thuringia and Baden-Württemberg with individually geared activities.

Focus on sustainable corporate planning
In the focus of the ecological student companies are the classic areas of business management. Right from the beginning, the students should deal with them in the sense of an ecologically-oriented and sustainable corporate planning. Business principles and objectives shall be seen, planned and managed from an ecological perspective. This involves the management of materials, production, waste, water and energy, the marketing mix, accountancy and controlling as also the staff policy.
Meanwhile, 203 sustainable student companies have been established in Lower Saxony at 170 schools, which are unified in 13 study groups.
