In the practical work with disabled people, common action and a stable and social work climate is of prime importance. However, sheltered workshops must pursue also professional marketing strategies and must be able to survive against their competitors. Additionally, questions of ecological management are on the agenda. How to accommodate all these requests?

Practical qualification relieves the environment
The advanced training »Sustainable Economizing and Marketing in Sheltered Workshops« of the Catholic Adult Education Center (Katholische Landvolkshochschule KLVHS Oesede) concentrates on the economic abilitiy of the workshop and advances the social and ecological competence of the staff simultaneously. The course consists of three one-week units. In the first week, the main focus lies on customer winning and sales. The second course unit is characterized through ecology and economics. Main aspect of the third course week is the development of conversation, presentation and sales strategies. Goal is to gain clear environmental reliefs in the different product groups and service offers of sheltered workshops.
