»Comeback for salmon and lynx« Nature film Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland

The aim of natural parks is to give nature space to develop undisturbed and untouched. Touristic activities, the way of living and the economic situation of the citizens often counteract this idea.

The film »Comeback for salmon and lynx« of the Sächsische Landesstiftung Natur und Umwelt from Dresden, a foundation aimed at nature conservation and environmental protection in Saxon, makes this conflict a topic of discussion. Using the example of the transboundary national park region of the Saxon Bohemian Switzerland it shows that a cooperation of man and nature is possible.

Environmental education: informative and entertaining
The film explains in an understandable and informative language why both - the widely untouched nature and the man-made cultural landscape - are worthy of protection and preservation. The film-
makers want to achieve that the viewers can experience the national park with more awareness, more understanding and more intenseness during their next visit.
Along the German version, the DVD contains five other languages: English, French, Polish, Spanish and Czech.
