The newspaper publishing company Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (Neue OZ) supports them with developing competence in the contact with the media. With schools in its circulation area it arranges the projects »KLASSE!« and »KLASSE!-Kids«, which want to familiarise the students with the newspaper as the most significant classic information medium.

Active as environmental reporter
For a period of two school years each, the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt promoted KLASSE! (2004-2006) and KLASSE!-Kids (2005-2007). These project steps focused on environmental protection. The participating children and teenagers committed themselves as environmental journalists equipped with the KLASSE! press ID. They investigated environmental topics and wrote newspaper articles that were published in the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung.
