In total 68 schools with more than 5,000 pupils participate in the project: 34 schools from Germany and 34 schools from Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The project teams or classes visit each other in the course of one year. The focus of these meetings is the common research of innovative environment- and nature conservation projects. On the basis of the research the adolescents write articles in their native language that are published in cooperating newspapers in Germany and the Eastern European countries.
