Highly efficient redevelopment standards show the trainees from various industries the proper handling of innovative building materials and the installing of energy-efficient building technology. The documentation of the measures makes sensitive interfaces visible and tangible – and the building as a whole energetic system comprehensible.
Goal is to create a learning center for renewable energy and sustainability for the regional crafts and various educational facilities. Due to the flexibility of all redevelopment measures it becomes a »self-evolving educational house« for training purposes. In future, relevant events can take place in a perfectly refurbished and energy-independent house.
In front of the EnergyPLUS Technology house: a solar station with charging post and solar tree. Here, electric mobility is demonstrated comprehensively. Visitors can charge their electric vehicles like scooters and bicycles with a charging card. A solar panel produces electricity that is fed into the network and thus available any time. The school has purchased its own electric scooter for experimentation purposes.
