In recent years, many graduates from various universities in Poland have applied for fellowships. A total of 294 fellowships have been awarded so far. Many fellowship holders come from the fields of engineering, geography and biology.
We would like to explicitly point out that applications from the social sciences, law and economics are also very welcome.
Dr. Karol Mrozik is the direct contact person for questions on site. He was a DBU fellowship holder in the CEE fellowship programme and is in close contact with the DBU.

Since 2001, there is an association of former Polish fellowship holders - Stowarzyszenie Srodowisko dla Srodowiska (SdS) in Poland. The SdS supports the DBU in announcing the programme and selecting suitable fellowship holders. It helps to consolidate the network of current and former fellowship holders and to strengthen the contacts between Germans and Poles. Together with the DBU, the SdS also contributes to a socially fruitful climate between Germany and Poland.
In addition to numerous small events, the SdS organizes an annual alumni meeting and a certificate ceremony for new fellowship holders.
