CEE Fellowship Programme with Ukraine

Since 2017, the DBU has been awarding fellowships for further qualification in the field of environmental and nature conservation in Germany to young Master's degree and PhD students from Ukraine.

Important dates:

Application deadline: 05.03.2023
Selection interviews: April 2023
Fellowship start date: 20.08.2023
Start of the German Intensive Course: 22.08.2023
Start of the further training: 18.09.2023


In recent years, many graduates from various universities in Ukraine have applied for fellowships. A total of 24 fellowships have been awarded so far. Many fellowship holders come from the fields of engineering, economics and geography.

We would like to explicitly point out that applications from the fields of law, natural and social sciences are also very welcome.
