Fakuma 2011
Huge interest in the Friedrichshafen exhibition halls: FAKUMA has evolved along with the "K" to the leading meeting of the European plastics industry.

1.) DBU for first time at FAKUMA

FAKUMA - the International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing – takes place from 18 - 22 October 2011 in Friedrichshafen. Founded in 1981, it is already celebrating its 30th anniversary. As with the previous event in 2009, the fair organizers expect a full house of about 1,500 exhibitors. Injection moulding, extrusion and thermo-forming and plastic recycling are the focus of the trade fair, which could attract 40,000 in 2009 to visit the fairgrounds in the vicinity of Lake Constance.
The Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU is there for the first time with a joint stand (Hall B4 – N° 4216). Together with four project partners it shows various methods of plastic processing, all under the heading of "Material and Resources Efficiency”.
The Foundation and its partners participate also in the Forum "Energy and resource efficiency in plastics processing”. More information at: www.dbu.de/termine.
DBU contact for all questions around the event is Ulf Jacob (u.jacob@dbu.de).
