3.) DBU measures on coronavirus (COVID-19)

The DBU monitors the developments around the coronavirus (COVID-19). In the interest of public health, we take measures to protect the well-being of our employees, partners and visitors. We would also like to contribute to slowing down the spread of the viral disease as much as possible. At the same time, we are continuing our work to protect the environment.

In many places, our project partners are currently having to reorganise processes, as previous working methods are no longer possible as planned due to the breakdown of supply chains, travel and events. If this results in deadlines being missed, the DBU accepts them informally. Please contact us if you encounter particular difficulties. We will deal with the special situation flexibly and unbureaucratically.

The office of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt will remain open until further notice. However, a larger part of our staff will work in the home office. We ask for your understanding if, in individual cases, there are restrictions in accessibility or delays in processing procedures. We will reduce our own travel activities to a minimum.

All events of the DBU and its subsidiaries as well as events in our DBU Centre for Environmental Communication are cancelled until the end of April 2020.
