2.) Exhibition opening at Naturerbe Zentrum Rügen

The Naturerbe Zentrum Rügen in Prora has a new permanent exhibition. From now on it presents itself under the title "360° Naturerbe Prora" with new exhibits. DBU General Secretary Alexander Bonde, Bernd Bayerköhler, Spokesman of “Erlebnis  Akademie AG” and Jürgen Michalski, Regional Management North, have now officially opened the exhibition. The revised exhibition was realized by the Naturerbe Zentrum Rügen in cooperation with DBU’s non-profit subsidiary the “DBU Naturerbe GmbH” and the agencies "Die Etagen" and "Cognitio Kommunikation und Planung".

In the exhibition, virtual reality (VR) glasses allow visitors to playfully discover various living spaces around the educational location. Visitors can virtually explore the flintstone fields, take a look at the former military installations on Buhlitz Reste or take a flight over the bodden landscape on a sea eagle. Newly conceived exhibition modules show how the DBU Naturerbe GmbH deals with the ecosystems of forest and open land on its 71 areas covering 70,000 hectares.

In compliance with current hygiene and safety regulations, the permanent exhibition is currently accessible to visitors with restrictions.
