First and Second Place awards for two DBU project partners– that is the balance of this year’s awards of the state of Baden-Württemberg’s Environmental Technology Prize: The company Junker-Filter GmbH, of Sinsheim, was the winner in the category “Emissions Reduction, Treatment and Capture” with its product “Zero-Design Filter Hoses”. Since as a molded product this type of filter hose has no seams, it reduces the release of fine dust from industrial facilities, and thus offers an elegant technical solution for air purification in “classic” industrial areas such as industrial filtration. The Karlsruhe company Unisensor Sensorsysteme GmbH won second place in the category “Measurement and Control Technology” with its development of a recycling system for the accurate sorting recovery of synthetic materials from automobiles and electronic waste.
