More than 30 foundations in eight countries have come together in a unique alliance for more climate protection and a global energy transition. This was announced by the foundations in mid-May at the “German Foundation Day” in Osnabrück. The “Foundation Platform (F20)” is conceived as a bridge between the 20 most important industrial and emerging economies (G20), the private and financial sectors, and civil society. The objective of the financial platform is the implementation of Agenda 2030 and climate protection projects, encouraging the expansion of renewable energies, and emphasizing the major role of civic organizations in this process.
