1.) E-Mobility: Germany and Japan agree to exchange

With a joint declaration of intent, a two-day bilateral conference of experts came to an end in mid-January in Berlin. Organized by Ecos Consult, discussions took place between German and Japanese experts before 220 participants on high tech solutions in the future energy network landscape. In a closing statement, the German Federal Ministry of the Environment (Bundesumweltministerium) and NEDO emphasized that opportunities for cooperation in the areas of electromobility and “smart communities” should be actively sought, and that the intensive exchange of information on the newest trends in these areas should be continued on the industrial, political and scientific levels.

The DBU was a co-initiator of the German-Japanese Environmental Dialog Forum, which it has also supported repeatedly and, particularly in its early years, comprehensively accompanied.
